Kneeboarding Tricks

O'Brien Black Magic Kneeboard With Hook
Tricks are not always what they seem to be. In fact, kneeboarding tricks have nothing to do with the word ‘tricks’ as used in the English language. They are the flip and turn moves a sportsman or sportswoman makes on a kneeboard whiles surfing through the waves of the sea. Kneeboarding tricks are actually the hard nuts to crack when it comes to kneeboarding. They differentiate an amateur from an expert whiles they are both being pulled by a boat through the strong and threatening waves of the sea. Performance of these tricks shows how advanced you are in kneeboarding both in and out of the water.
Some tricks take you slightly below the surface of the water while others are all about being on the surface of the water. So it’s all about what you want to do and how well you know what you are doing. One of the simplest kneeboarding tricks is the belly start. It is a form of deepwater start so it is done by initially being a bit below the surface of the water. Belly start can be performed by lying on the board flat with your stomach with the needed strap in the direction of the front of the board. Ensure the nose of the board sticks up out of the water whiles you are holding on tightly to the rope and the same time holding both sides of the board with your two hands.
So when the boat starts pulling you, you push your knees forward to fit into the padded knee wells on the board. In doing this, please make sure you lean back with your weight and don’t bend too forward. As you gain your balance altogether, you let go of the rope being grasped whiles pulling the straps to your knees. When the strap is way over your knees, you should tighten it up more to ensure you are so safe on the board. Just in the course of doing this, make sure you extend your arms and bend them slightly.
It should be that difficult to try to have fun with the belly start. It is actually one of the beginner tricks and so much easier than the advanced tricks. Always ensure that your grip is so tight when you are doing any kneeboarding tricks. You do not want to risk falling into the water while trying to have some fun, so make sure you are secured on the board by whatever you need to do to ensure that safety. You don’t have to regret trying kneeboarding because it will just discourage you from enjoying more of the game through the other exciting tricks you could learn to do.
After doing beginner tricks like belly start, there are a whole range of kneeboarding tricks you can learn. The amazing part is you could easily learn them on your own. Once you are sure of your safety on the board, you could try taking some risks with intermediate tricks like the wake jump, the wake front-to-back and the wake 360.
